Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alex Irwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dario Sakara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sakara has chosen I'm On My Way as his entrance music. Dario Sakara told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A cross from Irwin lands.
Irwin doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Irwin lands a really nice looking cross but Sakara seems unphased.
Sakara throws a jab when Irwin was well out of range.
Sakara lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Sakara blocks a jab.
Sakara fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Irwin manages to avoid it.
Irwin misses with a few strikes there.
A jab lands there for Irwin.
Sakara looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Irwin rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Sakara counter with a right hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Sakara connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sakara slips a straight right by Irwin.
Irwin throws a low kick but Sakara moves out of range easily.
Irwin blocks a jab.
Irwin throws a series of punches but Sakara avoids them all with ease.
Sakara tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Irwin defends well and Sakara ends up having to push Irwin into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Sakara pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Irwin misses with an uppercut. Sakara saw that one coming.
Sakara lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Alex Irwin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Irwin throws a shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Irwin lands a glancing blow to the side of Sakara's head.
Irwin works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Irwin lands with a hook. Sakara tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Alex Irwin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Irwin slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Sakara is rocked!
Sakara takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Sakara is still on wobbly legs! Can Irwin finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Irwin drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Sakara right on the button. Sakara goes down! Irwin follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Irwin gets the win via TKO!
