Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joffrey Baratheon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mac Mcgregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baratheon throws a shot from downtown. Mcgregor moves away and avoids it.
Baratheon thows a left - swing and a miss!
Baratheon looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Mcgregor doesn't manage to clinch there - Baratheon circles away.

Mcgregor drops his hands momentarily and Baratheon takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mac Mcgregor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Baratheon and Mcgregor goes tumbling to the canvas! Baratheon follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Mac Mcgregor is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Baratheon throws a hook to the side of Mcgregor's head but Mcgregor sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Baratheon ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Mcgregor darts in trying to clinch
and Mcgregor takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Mcgregor feints a jab promting Baratheon to slip. Mcgregor then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Baratheon slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Baratheon's jab looks to have found its range, popping Mcgregor under the eye.
Baratheon looks to land a right hand but Mcgregor moved out of range.

The fight stays on the outside here - Mcgregor looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Baratheon drops his shoulder and cracks Mcgregor with a huge uppercut! Mcgregor goes down! Can Baratheon finish him?

Mcgregor looks to land a combination but Baratheon avoids it well.
Baratheon lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Mcgregor takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Baratheon's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Baratheon is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Baratheon closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Mcgregor! Baratheon dives in looking to finish! Mcgregor is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Joffrey Baratheon decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
