Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colin Jeffs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Burly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burly misses with a head kick.
Jeffs misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Burly.
Burly just misses with a punch to the body.
Jeffs tries for a takedown but Burly sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A telegraphed right hand from Jeffs misses the target.
Jeffs scores with a nice right hand.

It looks like Bill Burly has been cut.
Burly fails to land with a series of punches.

Jeffs catches Burly napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Burly to the canvas!
This has been an exciting period of action!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Burly looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jeffs is one step ahead there.
Jeffs knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Burly on the ground.

Burly is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Jeffs is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Colin Jeffs just wasn't active enough.
Burly displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jeffs throws out the jab.
Bill Burly is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Burly throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like Colin Jeffs has been cut.
Burly pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Burly throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Burly ducks straight into an uppercut from Jeffs and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Burly manages to regain guard straight away.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Burly can do anything to dispel that myth.

Jeffs prevents Burly from getting back to his feet.
Our spies down at at Steel Penn/Heavy Hands Gym inform us that Burly has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jeffs shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Burly defends it nicely.
Jeffs throws a monster overhand right that drops Burly! Jeffs follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
