Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carl Creel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Kyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyle has chosen Wasted as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

22 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mark Kyle! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Creel misses. Kyle tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Creel scores with a nice body kick.
Carl Creel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Creel throws a leg kick that misses. Creel throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kyle sees it coming and avoids it easily. Crunch! Kyle slams his shin into Creel's torso. We've been told by Creel's head coaches at Mary Gracies Jiu Jitsu that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Kyle gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
It looks like Mark Kyle has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Creel. Kyle checks a leg kick. A nice leg kick lands there from Kyle. Kyle comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Creel loads up on a big right hand but Kyle slips the punch. A nice leg kick lands there from Kyle. Kyle moves away from the strike by Creel. Kyle instigates a clinch. Kyle manages to break the clinch.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Kyle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Creel blocks the body kick.
Kyle connects with a solid leg kick. Creel lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Nice cross by Kyle. Kyle goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Creel connects with an inside leg kick. Carl Creel is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kyle thumps Creel with a low kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Creel lands a jab to the nose. Kyle looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Kyle lands strikes from half guard. Kyle thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Creel's head. Creel wants to improve his position but Kyle is controlling well.
Kyle trying to mount his opponent but Creel defends it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kyle moves nicely into side control. Kyle is looking to take a break and control but Creel is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kyle has an Americana. Creel didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Kyle is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Kyle hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
