Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jie Liu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Sibelius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liu comes to the cage accompanied by The Cinematic Orchestra ft. Roots Manuva - All Things To All Men. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sibelius misses with a hook
and Liu counters with a nice double leg into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Sibelius is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Liu is aware though and is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Liu tries to free his leg and advance position but Sibelius is retaining full guard.
Liu wants to control from the top but Sibelius keeps moving.

Liu is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Sibelius has managed to escape the submission attempt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Jie Liu will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action!
Sibelius takes one on the button.
Sibelius has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Liu.
Liu moves out of range of the strikes.
Liu throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sibelius's waist but Sibelius gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Liu off to one side.
A clash of legs there as Sibelius blocks the low kick.
Liu throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Liu takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
An inside leg kick lands from Liu.
Liu throws a leg kick but Sibelius checks it.
Liu lands a nice looking kick to the body. Sibelius takes a step back to recover.
Liu fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Sibelius checks it well.
Sibelius avoids the head kick by Liu.
Sibelius throws the left hand but Liu avoids the punch easily.
Sibelius misses with a wild body shot.

Sibelius throws a hook to the side of Liu's head but Liu sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Liu uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sibelius.
Sibelius lands with an uppercut that bounces Liu off the cage and back into range.
Liu with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Liu shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sibelius's guard.
Sibelius has his foot on Liu's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Liu works his way back into a safe position though.

Liu drops back looking for a leg! Sibelius is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sibelius manages to kick Liu off! Liu jumps back into Sibelius's guard.
Liu passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Liu is trying to get an arm triangle but Sibelius is defending well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
You can see the frustration on Sibelius's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jie Liu will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Liu slips a jab and a cross from Sibelius.
Sibelius throws an overhand right that lands on Liu's shoulder, as Liu tries to avoid the shot.
Sibelius shoots for a double leg takedown but Liu sprawls well. He's pushed Sibelius's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Sibelius throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Liu slips a straight right by Sibelius.
Sibelius swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Liu takes a body punch but keeps moving.

A very excited looking Jie Liu made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
