The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmberg ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stark moves away.
Stark shoots in looking for a takedown but Holmberg manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stark's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Holmberg throws a head kick but Stark moves out of range.
Horrible takedown by Stark or perhaps it was just good defense by Holmberg which made him look bad.
Stark fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Holmberg connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Stark takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Stark.

Stark shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Stark was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Stark throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Holmberg's waist but Holmberg gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Stark off to one side.

Holmberg is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Stark is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Stark has escaped and now he's on top!

Holmberg closes the distance and clinches up with Stark, looking for a takedown. Holmberg pushes Stark against the cage but Stark circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
