Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Brock Conley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bruce Jenkins! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Shimada and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jenkins throws a leg kick but Conley checks it. Conley misses the shot to the body. Jenkins closes the distance and pushes Conley back into the cage. Jenkins gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Conley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Conley actively working from the bottom here. Jenkins content to control rather than advance. Let's hope that Jenkins has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Conley looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Conley is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Conley wants to control but Jenkins is keeping busy and won't allow it. Jenkins looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Bruce Jenkins was stalling too much, according to the referee. Conley takes one to the chin there. A chopping leg kick lands by Jenkins. A head kick misses from Jenkins. Jenkins throws a right hand that Conley ducks under and follows up with a left that Conley also avoids with ease. Jenkins scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Conley looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Conley is looking for a sweep. Jenkins is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Jenkins is controlling the pace.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Conley looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Jenkins controlling the action here. Conley is looking to improve his position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Conley is staying active underneath Jenkins, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Bruce Jenkins wasn't active enough on the ground. Jenkins drives through with a takedown into guard. Jenkins seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Conley keeping moving, preventing Jenkins from controlling successfully. Jenkins must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The ref stands the fighters back up. Bruce Jenkins was stalling too much, according to the referee. Jenkins rushes Conley and presses him up against the cage. Jenkins throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Conleys head. Jenkins throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Jenkins scores a nice knee to the body.
Conley is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Conley is fighting off a takedown attempt but Jenkins is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Conley to the mat. Conley regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Conley looking for a guillotine here but Jenkins defends easily.

Bruce Jenkins dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Jenkins scores with a hook. Conley closes the distance and clinches. Conley is trying to push Jenkins away but Jenkins has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Conley has had enough of the clinch but Jenkins keeps him there for the moment. Jenkins lands a good knee to the midsection. Conley won't want to take too many of those. Jenkins lands a takedown into guard.
Jenkins controls from within his opponent's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Conley has his foot on Jenkins's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jenkins works his way back into a safe position though. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Good work. Jenkins showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Conley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Jenkins trying to control the position from guard on top but Conley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Conley wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jenkins has him pressed against the cage. Jenkins's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Jenkins works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Conley looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Jenkins controlling from the top position. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Jenkins tries to bum rush Conley with a series of wild strikes but Conley uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Jenkins connects with a solid leg kick. The fight moves into the clinch position. Jenkins connects with a nasty looking knee right to Conley's face.
Conley is fighting off a takedown attempt but Jenkins is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Conley to the mat. Conley regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Jenkins stands and throws Conley's legs to the side, diving into side control. Jenkins passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Conley! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jenkins with the ground and pound from mount. Jenkins controlling from mount. Conley is in all sorts of trouble here.

And that's the end of the fight! Bruce Jenkins comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jenkins has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
