Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Benito Gould (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dule Savic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benito Gould has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Benito Gould! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dule Savic! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Savic darts in and clinches Gould up against the cage. Savic escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Savic throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Benito Gould has been cut. Savic moves into range and clinches up with Gould. Savic prevents Gould from breaking the clinch. Savic works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Savic passes into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Savic connects with a nice short shot to Gould's temple.
Gould is rocked! Savic wants to pass to mount but Gould is defending the position. Savic wants to stand up but Gould is controlling the position.
Savic wants to control but Gould is keeping him busy. Gould avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Savic. Savic trying to control the pace. Gould tries to kick Savic off but Savic keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gould keeps control of the position for the meantime. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Savic missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Gould is looking to control Savic's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Gould avoid being mounted?
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Savic fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gould, pushing him back against the cage. Savic decides to pull guard. Gould has gone for a leg lock! Savic slips out almost immediately though and dives into Gould's guard. Savic trying to control the position from guard on top but Gould is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Savic being controlled here momentarily. Gould keeping moving, preventing Savic from controlling successfully. Gould really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Gould seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Gould uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Gould moves in looking to clinch but Savic pushes him off. A head kick misses from Savic. Gould fails with an attempt to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Savic looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Gould is refusing to be controlled, as Savic sits in half guard. Gould wants to get back to his feet. Gould controlling the position for now. Gould is trying to stand back up but Savic is controlling him
Savic is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Gould looks like he's trying to stand up.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Dule Savic wasn't active enough on the ground. Savic drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gould controlling Savic's posture. Gould looking to sweep here. No luck so far. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gould keeping moving, preventing Savic from controlling successfully. Gould will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Savic looks winded! Gould wants to get back to his feet but Savic is in a dominant position and won't allow it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Dule Savic. Gould tries to sprawl but Savic drives through with a takedown into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dule Savic dominated that round. The cut man is working on Benito Gould's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Gould shoots for a double leg takedown but Savic sprawls well. He's pushed Gould's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Savic fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Gould to the ground. Savic is now in Gould's guard. Gould is working an open guard so Savic takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Savic shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Savic was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Savic wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gould keeps working. Savic is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gould knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Gould wants to get back to his feet. Savic is breathing heavily. Savic throws an elbow but Gould slips to the side and avoids it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gould struggling a bit here. Gould gets back to half guard. Gould regains full guard. Nicely done. Gould is pulling down on Savic's head. It's preventing any offense from Savic, at least for the moment. Gould is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Gould is adopting a defensive guard. Gould keeping moving, preventing Savic from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gould is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Savic defends well. Savic postures up in Gould's guard and throws a big left but Gould blocks it. Savic trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Savic trying to control but Gould is working from the bottom. Gould has control of Savic's left arm, preventing Savic from doing any damage. Gould wants to stand up but Savic is controlling him.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Dule Savic. Gould connects with the punch. Dule Savic is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Gould fails to land the takedown. Savic clinches up with Gould and pushes him back against the cage. Savic lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Savic wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gould keeps working. Savic sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Gould defending well though. Gould keeps control of the position for the meantime. Gould is trying to maintain the position but Savic is very close to passing his half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Savic sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Gould defending well though. Gould moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Gould has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Benito Gould just wasn't active enough. Savic closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Savic lands in his opponent's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dule Savic showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Benito Gould's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Gould fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Savic avoids it really well and circles away. Savic closes the distance and pushes Gould back into the cage. Gould's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Gould wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Savic has him pressed against the cage. Savic ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Savic no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Savic is looking for a triangle but Gould pushes his legs off easily.
Gould lands a couple of decent looking shots. Gould scoring with some ground and pound. Savic is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Gould is aware though and is defending well. Gould stands and throws Savic's legs to the side, diving into side control. Savic takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Gould decides to take the fight back to the feet. Savic swings for the body but Gould moves out of range.
Savic darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gould is controlling Savic's position as best he can from this difficult position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gould manages to get to full guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Savic accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Savic must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Gould is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Savic is trying to maintain the position but Gould is very close to passing his half guard. Savic tries to roll over but Gould keeps him under control. Savic is trying to stand back up but Gould is controlling him
Savic wants to control but Gould is keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gould seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Gould is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Gould is thwarting Savic's attempts to control the position. Savic is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Gould is staying active. Gould stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Jab by Gould. Savic on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Savic shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Gould pulls Savic in close to his closed guard and prevents Savic from doing any damage or advancing position. This has been an exciting period of action! Savic won't allow Gould to sweep him here. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gould is on top in guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gould wanted to stand there but Savic had control of the position. Benito Gould has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dule Savic is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Savic pulls Gould in close to prevent any damage.
And that's the end of the fight! Benito Gould showed his dominance in that final round. Well Savic has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
