Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Erwin Korba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Augusto Pinochet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Erwin Korba! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Augusto Pinochet! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Korba misses. Pinochet closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Korba did well to prevent Pinochet getting side control. Pinochet passes to full mount! Korba has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Pinochet tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Korba is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Korba prevents Pinochet from taking his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Korba regains half guard. Korba regains full guard. Nicely done. Pinochet thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Pinochet wants to control from the top but Korba keeps moving. Korba trying to keep a closed guard but Pinochet is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Korba looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pinochet stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Korba swivels though and keeps the full guard. Korba trying to control the position.

Korba bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pinochet's guard. Pinochet trying to control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Korba accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Korba wants to pass the guard but Pinochet is keeping the position. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Pinochet has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Augusto Pinochet wasn't active enough on the ground. Pinochet closes the distance but Korba moves to the side and Korba counters with a nice double leg into guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Korba is looking to advance position but Pinochet has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Korba wants to hold on but Pinochet pushes him away. Pinochet seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Korba is holding on tight.
Korba reaches up to try and control the position but Pinochet seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Korba rolls and tries to escape and now Pinochet has his back!
Korba is trapped and Pinochet is scoring with shots to the head and body. Korba tries to roll but Pinochet sticks to his back.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Korba prevents Pinochet from getting a body triangle. Korba is in bad spot here.
Pinochet is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Pinochet is trying to stick to Korba's back but Korba is turning into Pinochet. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Pinochet's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Korba. Korba looking to pass the guard. Korba throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Korba looking to pass the guard. Korba trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Korba postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Korba looking to pass the guard. Pinochet wants to sweep here but Korba controlling him for the moment. Pinochet is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Korba tries to free his leg and advance position but Pinochet is retaining full guard. Pinochet throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Erwin Korba will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Augusto Pinochet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Korba swats away the attempt to clinch by Pinochet. Korba misses the jab. Korba dives in and grabs Pinochet's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pinochet pushes down on Korba's head and hops out. Pinochet misses with a wild body shot. Pinochet fails with a takedown attempt. Korba shoots in but Pinochet avoids the takedown attempt easily. Pinochet shoots for a double leg takedown but Korba sprawls well. He's pushed Pinochet's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Korba throws a leg kick but Pinochet moved away. Pinochet with a poor takedown and Korba counters by clinching up. Erwin Korba has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Augusto Pinochet. Pinochet goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
That's one minute gone in the round. Korba tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pinochet smiles and moves away.
Korba throws a jab but it's blocked by Pinochet. No luck with that takedown attempt from Pinochet. Pinochet shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Korba misses with a straight right. Korba tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pinochet sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Korba somewhat. Korba misses with a looping right. Korba lands a nice shot that snaps Pinochet's head back.

The fight stays on the outside here - Pinochet looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Korba shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pinochet is trying to defend but Korba finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Korba is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Korba is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Pinochet defends it well. Pinochet is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Korba's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Korba's back! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pinochet has the hooks in. Korba is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Korba trying to control the hands but Pinochet won't let him. Korba fending off the submission attempt from Pinochet. Korba tries to escape but Pinochet has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Korba trying to control the action but Pinochet just sinks the hooks in. Korba is really stuck here.

Pinochet cracks Korba with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Korba from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pinochet punishes Korba with strikes from the back mount. Korba fending off the submission attempt from Pinochet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Korba preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Pinochet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Augusto Pinochet will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Korba's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Korba changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pinochet looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Korba thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Pinochet tries to buck Korba off but Korba is having none of it. Korba tries to advance to mount but can't. Erwin Korba overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Korba wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Pinochet, who protects the arm well. Pinochet tries to improve position but can't. Korba scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Pinochet to see if he's OK. Korba tries to score with some ground and pound. Pinochet controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Korba has hold of Pinochet's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Pinochet seems comfortable defending it but Korba has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Pinochet is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Pinochet is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Korba couldn't care less - he's delighted!
