The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lauzon tries to clinch up.

Lauzon has taken the fight to the clinch.
Lauzon wants to break free but Craig has control.
Craig wants to break the clinch but can't.

Lauzon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Craig darts in and clinches Lauzon up against the cage.
Craig tries to pull guard but Lauzon holds him up against the cage and eventually Craig drops back down to his feet.

and Craig counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Matt Lauzon has been cut.

Craig looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Lauzon!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Craig prevents Lauzon from getting the reversal.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Craig connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Craig is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Lauzon is surviving well by controlling Craig's body position as best he can.
Lauzon is looking to get to half guard.

Craig cracks Lauzon with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Lauzon is rocked!

Oh Lauzon is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lauzon could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Lauzon takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Craig's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
