The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Delacruz.
Mitchell lands with a nice combination. Delacruz backs away looking to recover.
Sloppy strikes from Mitchell. Those never looked like landing.
A combination from Mitchell does no damage.
Delacruz avoids the head kick by Mitchell.
Delacruz pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Mitchell tries to circle away but Delacruz has him pinned against the cage.
Delacruz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Delacruz shoots in for a double leg but Mitchell sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Delacruz wants to clinch.
Delacruz fails with a takedown attempt.

Mitchell throws a series of punches but Delacruz avoids them all with ease.
Mitchell avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Delacruz darts in and clinches Mitchell up against the cage.

Delacruz slips a jab and a cross from Mitchell.
Mitchell throws a sloppy head kick and Delacruz moves out of range easily.
No joy there for Mitchell, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mitchell lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Delacruz circles away quickly and effectively.
A lazy left from Mitchell finds it's target.
Mitchell looks winded!
Delacruz clinches up against the cage.
Delacruz jumps guard.
Delacruz is pulling down on Mitchell's head. It's preventing any offense from Mitchell, at least for the moment.
Delacruz might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Delacruz tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Delacruz manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mitchell manages to get himself to full guard.
Delacruz distracts Mitchell with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Delacruz stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Mitchell looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Delacruz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mitchell swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Delacruz gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Mitchell can't break the clinch.
Delacruz has hold of one of Mitchell's legs. Mitchell is fighting the takedown attempt but Delacruz gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Delacruz cracks Mitchell with a solid left hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Delacruz gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
A head kick from Delacruz lands but Mitchell takes it in his stride.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Delacruz clinches.
Delacruz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Delacruz tries to keep at a distance but Mitchell has taken the fight into the clinch.
Delacruz manages to break the clinch.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Delacruz changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mitchell fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Delacruz feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Delacruz slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Delacruz lands an elbow.

Delacruz is putting a hurting on Mitchell here, landing some big shots from side control.
Delacruz has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Mitchell is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Delacruz yanks on the arm and Mitchell is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Delacruz.
