Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Paul Fish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mack Bolan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mack Bolan was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A decent looking cross lands there for Fish.
Fish scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Bolan has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Fish.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fish fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bolan manages to avoid it.

Fish throws a right hand that Bolan ducks under and follows up with a left that Bolan also avoids with ease.
Bolan takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Bolan moves in looking to clinch but Fish pushes him off.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bolan displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fish throws out the jab.

Fish has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bolan uses from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fish has his foot on Bolan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bolan works his way back into a safe position though.

Bolan sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Fish doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Bolan paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Fish - great work!
