Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Andrew Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ziggy Cooper!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson throws a series of strikes that have Cooper backpedaling.
Anderson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cooper.
Anderson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cooper.
Anderson misses with a series of wild punches.
Cooper misses with a body shot.

Cooper rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Anderson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Cooper has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Kelley Fighting Systems. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Anderson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cooper gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Anderson seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Cooper throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Anderson was covering up waiting for the punch and Cooper finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Anderson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Cooper is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Anderson working for submissions but it's allowed Cooper to get to half guard.
Cooper working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Anderson wants to control but Cooper is keeping busy.

Anderson is staying active underneath Cooper, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Anderson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cooper is working away from the top position though.

Ziggy Cooper showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Anderson looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Cooper has picked Anderson up and slammed him! Anderson can't keep hold of the triangle and Cooper manages to pass to side control!

Cooper has the hooks in. Anderson is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Cooper is trying to stick to Anderson's back but Anderson is turning into Cooper. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Cooper's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Anderson.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Andrew Anderson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Ziggy Cooper is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Let's hope that Cooper has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
