Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ira Stout!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Boris Topor!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stout avoids a punch combination nicely.
A punch combination from Topor misses.
Topor dips to his left and cracks Stout with an uppercut!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Topor enables Stout to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Topor manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Stout controlling from the top position.
Stout working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Topor's head.

Stout tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Topor just stands there and leans against the cage.

Stout breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Stout moves into range and clinches up with Topor.

Stout pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Topor throws a series of punches but Stout moves out of range.
Topor throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Stout makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Stout has Topor up against the cage in a clinch.
Stout avoiding damage.

Stout escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Topor lands a left and a right that sends Stout crashing to the canvas! Topor dives into mount looking to finish!


Stout is rocked!


It looks like Ira Stout has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Topor controlling the position easily from mount.
Oh Stout is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Topor trying to control but Stout is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Topor seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Stout is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Topor is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Stout really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Stout gets full guard.

Stout working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Topor doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Topor manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Topor avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Stout wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Stout is looking for a triangle but Topor pushes his legs off easily.
Stout will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Topor is looking to stand up but Stout won't let him.

Topor got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stout has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Topor has managed to get both his arms back between Stout's legs - danger averted.
Topor has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Stout is proving hard to escape from.

Stout has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Topor is trying to keep an underhook but Stout manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Stout is taking a breather. Topor says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Ira Stout overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Topor scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Stout manages to mount him!

Topor's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Stout takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Topor is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
