Lack lands with a shot to the body.
Lack's coach down at Evil Emp-HEAD HUNTERS FIGHTCLUB ELITE4CHEAP//19COA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Lack's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Zavier Lack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shambles fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lack avoids it really well and circles away.
Lack fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Shambles shoots in but Lack avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Shambles shoots in for a takedown but Lack shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Boko Shambles. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lack leaves Shambles with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Lack enables Shambles to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lack manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Lack wants to improve his position but instead Shambles has moved into half guard.
Shambles is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lack defends it well.
Shambles is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Shambles definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Shambles in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Lack tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Shambles!
