Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ali Norton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green tries to clinch up but Norton circles away and keeps his distance.
Norton leaves Green with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Green is defended easily by Norton.
Green pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Green rushes Norton and presses him up against the cage.
Norton fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Green is working for takedown but Norton is calmly controlling the position for now.
Ali Norton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Green.
Norton jumps guard and drags Green to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Green is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Norton is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Norton has escaped and now he's on top!
Norton decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Green, up you get!
John Green seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Green tries to close the distance and clinch up but Norton swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Green is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Norton pulls his head out easily.
Norton wants to get back to his feet.
Norton is working for a submission of some sort.
Norton wants to stand up but Green is controlling the position.

Green is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Norton's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Norton's back!

Green tries to get the hooks in deep but Norton pushed the leg off.
Norton trying to get back to his feet but Green is in full control for now.
Norton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Green on the ground.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Green is trying to control but Norton is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.

Green is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Norton is surviving well by controlling Green's body position as best he can.
Norton is just holding on here. Green manages to take his back.
Norton is trying to stand back up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Norton staying busy and making it hard for Green to control.

That was a close round but I would say that Ali Norton will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Norton shoots in for a double leg but Green sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and Norton counters with a head kick.
Green fails in his attempt to clinch.
Norton gets tackled into the cage by Green. Green maintains the clinch.
Green ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Green no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Norton wants to stand but Green has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Norton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Norton wants to stand and escape but instead Green has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Norton is looking to stand up but Green isn't so interested in that idea.
Green postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Norton utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Norton wants to stand and escape but Green is having none of it.
Norton pushes Green off and scrambles back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Green tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Norton paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Green gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Norton counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Green's guard now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Norton stays in close to Green's body and controls the position.

Norton would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Ali Norton overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Green controls Norton momentarily but Norton frees himself.
Green looking for a triangle here. Norton is fighting it but it looks tight! Green pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Norton is tapping out - this one is all over!

A less than humble John Green misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
