Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wayne Shrek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Duggan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duggan is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Coming Down - FFDP. Jim Duggan has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Wayne Shrek's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wayne Shrek! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jim Duggan! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Alyssa Summers and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shrek stuffs the takedown attempt from Duggan. Duggan gets slowly back to his feet. Shrek closes the distance and clinches. Duggan has Shrek pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Duggan pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Shrek tumbling to the mat - Duggan dives into Shrek's guard. Duggan looking to sit in guard and control but Shrek gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Shrek is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Shrek scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duggan trying to keep a closed guard but Shrek is proving a slippery customer.
Shrek controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Duggan keeping moving, preventing Shrek from controlling successfully. Shrek slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Wayne Shrek just wasn't active enough. Duggan gets caught napping as Shrek dives in and scores a takedown. Duggan manages to retain guard. Shrek loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shrek slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shrek pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Duggan is keeping the position for now. Duggan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shrek. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Shrek controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Shrek passes Duggan's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Duggan is in trouble now - Shrek has advanced to mount! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Shrek has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Duggan's face.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shrek takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Duggan is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Duggan has left one of his arms exposed and Shrek doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Duggan screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
