Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Abraham Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiimir Roughshod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tiimir Roughshod will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Abraham Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tiimir Roughshod!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Vladimir Khabensky and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Roughshod clinches up with Miller and pushes him back against the cage.

Roughshod's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Miller fails with an attempt to clinch.

Miller clinches.
Miller controlling the action here for a moment.
Miller tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Roughshod wants to stall.

Roughshod pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Roughshod has managed to clinch.
Roughshod tries to work over Miller's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Roughshod manages to pull guard.
Miller really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...
Roughshod is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Abraham Miller.
Roughshod takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Miller is looking to chop away at Roughshod's legs.
Miller tried to score with a low kick but Roughshod checks it.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Miller is defended easily by Roughshod.

Roughshod slaps away a takedown attempt from Miller, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Miller fails with the takedown.

Roughshod leaves Miller with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Miller tries to clinch but Roughshod is having none of it.

and Roughshod counters with a low kick, right behind Miller 's knee.

Roughshod clinches up with Miller and pushes him back against the cage.

Miller throws a leg kick but Roughshod moved away.
A clash of legs there as Roughshod blocks the low kick.
Miller will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Roughshod working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Miller has passed into half guard!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Miller wants to stand up but Roughshod is controlling the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Tiimir Roughshod will probably get the nod.

Tiimir Roughshod has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Miller looks to land a combination but Roughshod avoids it well.

Roughshod keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Miller's efforts to push away.

Miller is trying to pull guard but Roughshod turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Miller stands and steps away. Roughshod gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Roughshod closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Roughshod lands in his opponent's guard.
Roughshod sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Miller's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Roughshod is trying to work for a kimura but Miller is defending well.
Miller is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Miller is working hard here to advance position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Roughshod wants to lay and pray for a moment but Miller keeps working.
Miller tries to get to full guard but Roughshod has control of the leg.
We've been informed that Roughshod has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Roughshod is looking to advance position but Miller won't allow it.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Tiimir Roughshod.

Miller gets caught napping as Roughshod dives in and scores a takedown. Miller manages to retain guard.

Roughshod drops back, looking for a kneebar! Miller looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Miller looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Miller!
Miller could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Roughshod can't do much from the bottom here.

Miller decides to stand up, so the ref orders Roughshod to his feet.

Roughshod shoots in and gets a takedown into Miller's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Miller keeping moving, preventing Roughshod from controlling successfully.
Miller might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Roughshod wants to pass the guard but Miller is keeping the position.
Roughshod sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Miller's guard.

Roughshod tries to stand but can't do so whilst Miller controls his leg.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Well, if Roughshod is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The fighters are battling for position here. Miller manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Tiimir Roughshod showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Miller's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Roughshod must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Miller misses with a kick to the body.
Roughshod avoids the head kick by Miller.

Roughshod darts in and clinches Miller up against the cage.

Roughshod breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Miller fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Roughshod sprawls well initially but Miller persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Miller is keen to just control but Roughshod is a slippery customer.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Roughshod is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Abraham Miller just wasn't active enough.

Roughshod closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Tiimir Roughshod is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Miller is trying to get back to half guard.
Miller is not content to let Roughshod control the position.

Roughshod decides to stand back up.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Miller fails with a takedown attempt.
Abraham Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Roughshod moves out of range of the body kick from Miller.

Roughshod clinches up against the cage.
Miller jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Roughshod walks away with a smile on his face. Miller gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Roughshod gets the takedown into side control.
Roughshod trying to control the position but Miller is working away.
Roughshod wants to stand but Miller is controlling his arm.
Miller tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Roughshod wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Miller tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Roughshod has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Miller gets tackled into the cage by Roughshod. Roughshod maintains the clinch.

Miller is fighting off a takedown attempt but Roughshod is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Miller to the mat. Miller regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
This has been an exciting period of action!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Miller is looking to stand up but Roughshod isn't so interested in that idea.
Roughshod stands and throws Miller's legs to the side, diving into side control.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tiimir Roughshod comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Roughshod has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
