Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Aldbridge!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Skip Squint and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lane takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Aldbridge scores with a nice right hand.
Lane takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Aldbridge waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Lane.
Aldbridge thows a body shot but no joy.
Aldbridge takes a swing at Lane's ribcage but misses.
Aldbridge scores with a hook to the body. Lane takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Aldbridge scores with a punch to the head.
Aldbridge misses with a wild body shot.
Lane tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Aldbridge defends well and Lane ends up having to push Aldbridge into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Aldbridge prevents the takedown attempt.

Aldbridge is trying to break the clinch but Lane has him pressed against the cage.
Aldbridge is trying to force a seperation but Lane has the dominant position.
Lane stalling in the clinch.
Lane gets control of Aldbridge's arms and successfully pulls guard. Lane will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Lane tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Lane manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Lane controlling the position easily from mount.
Lane misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Aldbridge is trying to stand up.

Aldbridge is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Lane has taken his back!
Lane has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lane is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Aldbridge knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Aldbridge for a finish.

Lane is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Lane is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Aldbridge won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Lane off his unconscious opponent!
