Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ubereem looks to score with a jab to the body but Shrefick is just out of range.
Shrefick drives through and clinches with Ubereem against the cage.
Shrefick pushes off an throws an elbow but Ubereem leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Ubereem keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Shrefick's efforts to push away.
Shrefick breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ubereem looks to score with a jab to the body but Shrefick is just out of range.

Ubereem rushes Shrefick and presses him up against the cage.
Shrefick wants to stall.
Ubereem pulls guard successfully.

Shrefick is pushing down on Ubereem's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ubereem is fighting to maintain full guard but Shrefick has managed to sneak the leg through.
Shrefick stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Ubereem to get to his feet.

and Shrefick connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Shrefick misses with a series of wild punches.
Gigantor Ubereem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ubereem thows a left - swing and a miss!
Shrefick smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Shrefick stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Ubereem throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Shrefick gets caught napping as Ubereem dives in and scores a takedown. Shrefick manages to retain guard.
Ubereem postures up in Shrefick's guard and throws a big left but Shrefick blocks it.

Ubereem is in close to Shrefick's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Ubereem has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Shrefick utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Ubereem looking to sit in guard and control but Shrefick gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Shrefick tries to stand but Ubereem is controlling from the bottom.
My spies in Franklin D. Bluth Memorial Supergym inform me that Shrefick has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Shrefick wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Ubereem's closed guard. He's half up but Ubereem has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Ubereem pivots and extends the arm, Shrefick falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Ubereem! Well done that man!
