Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emelyan Pugachov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bob comes to the cage accompanied by Notkea rotta - Itä meidän. Pugachov has chosen Du Hast as his entrance music. Billy Bob has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Emelyan Pugachov!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Pugachov.

Pugachov clinches up against the cage.
Pugachov using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Bob has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Bob is working for takedown but Pugachov is calmly controlling the position for now.

Bob looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Pugachov is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Bob tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pugachov smiles and moves away.

Bob shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pugachov defends it nicely.

Bob wants to take the fight to the mat but Pugachov manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Bob. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Pugachov lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Bob to his knees! Pugachov keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

Emelyan Pugachov was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
