Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ulf Glans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bahnie Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Glans comes to the ring accompanied by Raubtier - Dobermann. Mac comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ill Bill - War Is My Destiny (Feat Immortal Technique & Max Cavalera) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Bahnie Mac is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ulf Glans! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bahnie Mac! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Hugh Johnson and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mac avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ulf Glans seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Glans shoots for a takedown but Mac saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Glans. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Mac tries to work over Glans's front leg with a kick but Glans checks it. Glans checks a leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Glans tries to close the distance and clinch but Mac swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Glans doesn't manage to clinch there - Mac circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Glans bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Mac is looking to reverse the position. Glans gets to mount! Mac was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Glans stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Mac throws the kick towards the body but Glans avoids it. A head kick from Glans lands but Mac takes it in his stride. Glans closes the distance and clinches up with Mac, looking for a takedown. Glans pushes Mac against the ropes but Mac circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ulf Glans. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mac tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Mac throws a head kick that misses and Glans counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mac won't be happy with that. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Glans wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mac keeps working. Mac tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Glans wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Glans wants to stand but Mac is controlling his arm. Mac is looking to reverse the position. Mac gets back to half guard. Mac tries to roll over but Glans keeps him under control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mac throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Glans manages to pass to side control. You can see the frustration on Mac's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Mac tries to buck Glans off but Glans is having none of it. Glans working away. Mac regains half guard. Mac is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Glans is breathing heavily. Glans working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Mac's thigh. Mac counters though and makes it back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Mac is trying to control the position but Glans postures up. Mac managing to control the position. Mac manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Glans manages to get himself to full guard.
Glans is looking to stand up but Mac isn't so interested in that idea. Mac trying to control but Glans is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ulf Glans dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Mac throws a leg kick but Glans moved away. Glans checks a leg kick nicely. Mac motions for Glans to come forward. Mac throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Glans closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Mac moves into full guard.
Glans has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's one minute gone in the round. Glans is sitting in close to Mac's body. Mac has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Glans is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Glans is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Mac.
