Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Tom Kite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mic Krilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krilla has chosen A Tribe Called Quest - Buggin' Out as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tom Kite! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mic Krilla! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kite tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kite dips to his left and cracks Krilla with an uppercut! Kite lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Kite tests Krilla's chin there with a solid looking shot. Kite throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. A low kick from Kite is predictable there and Krilla counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Kite is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Krilla waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kite. Krilla wants to slow Kite down by chopping away at his legs. Krilla uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kite. Kite connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Krilla scores with a leg kick.
Kite throws a hook but Krilla blocks it. An inside leg kick lands from Kite. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kite fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Krilla manages to avoid it. Kite walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Krilla checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Kite slips a straight right by Krilla. Kite will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krilla throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kite throws a low kick but Krilla moves out of range easily. Krilla gets off balance looking for a body kick and Kite connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Kite swings for the body but Krilla moves out of range.

Kite avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Kite throws a leg kick but Krilla sees it coming and moves out of range. Krilla connects with a jab. A swing and a miss from Kite. Kite throws a hook but Krilla avoids it easily. A jab from Kite misses. Kite looks to land a left hand but Krilla moved out of range nicely. Krilla slips under a jab. Krilla clobbers Kite with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Krilla cracks the inside of Kite's front leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Decent striking displayed by Kite there. Krilla is looking to clinch. Krilla blocks a jab. Kite lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Krilla takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Krilla lands with a shot to the body. Kite is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Kite throws a chopping leg kick but Krilla manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Krilla with a hook. Krilla bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Krilla tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kite was well out of range. Poor timing from Krilla. Krilla uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kite. Kite slips a jab from Krilla. A left lands for Kite. Kite is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kite looks to land a combination but Krilla avoids it well. A jab lands there for Kite. Krilla wants to clinch. Kite lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tom Kite dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

It looks like Kite has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Krilla tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Kite connects with a nice looking jab.

Kite lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

"I'm sorry" says Kite. Krilla manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Krilla throws out a loose jab but Kite uses good head movement to avoid it. Krilla works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. A head kick from Kite lands but Krilla takes it in his stride. Krilla scores with a kick to the body.
