Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Omar Little (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CJ Wilkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Little comes to the cage accompanied by Snoop Dogg - Murder was the Case. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Omar Little! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, CJ Wilkins! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilkins thumps Little with a low kick. Wilkins misses with a low kick as Little jumps back. Wilkins is looking to slow Little down with leg kicks. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Wilkins has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. A low kick from Wilkins misses and Little counters with a nice low kick that buckles Wilkins's knee momentarily. Little uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Wilkins. Wilkins thows a leg kick but Little checks it and Little counters with a head kick. That will keep Wilkins thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Little checks a leg kick. Little throws a head kick that misses. Wilkins throws a leg kick that misses. Wilkins looks to throw the jab but Little is out of range. Little avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Wilkins misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Little.

Wilkins throws a quick inside leg kick. Wilkins fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Little is out of range. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Little looking to score a takedown here. Wilkins is defending well but Little drives through and ends up in Wilkins's guard. Wilkins wants to sweep here but Little controlling him for the moment. Little makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Wilkins is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Little is aware though and is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Little wants to pass the guard but Wilkins is keeping the position. Little stopping the sweep attempt from Wilkins. Little trying to control the position from guard on top but Wilkins is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Little controlling from the top position. Little working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Little lands a couple of digs. Wilkins wants to sweep but no luck. Little slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Wilkins bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Little's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wilkins stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Little swivels though and keeps the full guard. Little is looking for a triangle but Wilkins pushes his legs off easily.
This has been an exciting period of action! Little can't keep his opponent in guard - Wilkins advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Little regains full guard. Nicely done. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Little looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Wilkins puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Little gets full guard. Little looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Wilkins must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Wilkins is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Little lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Wilkins! Little lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Little prevents Wilkins from getting the reversal. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Little looking to finish Wilkins with some ground and pound. This is bad for Wilkins! Little wants to control the pace but Wilkins is squirming around nicely. Wilkins is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Wilkins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Little. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wilkins bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Wilkins stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Little swivels though and keeps the full guard. Little seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. It's a sloppy attempt though and Little jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. That's four minutes gone in the round. Little wants to control from the top but Wilkins keeps moving. This has been an exciting period of action! Wilkins is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Little forces his way into half guard. Little stops Wilkins from getting back to his feet.
Little is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Wilkins defends it well. Little takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Wilkins is refusing to be controlled, as Little sits in half guard. Little working Wilkins over with strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Omar Little dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Wilkins is controlling Little's position as best he can from this difficult position. Wilkins is looking for a sweep. Little is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Wilkins tries to get to full guard but Little has control of the leg. Little is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Wilkins sees it coming and defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Little is keen to just control but Wilkins is a slippery customer. Little is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Little takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Little keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Wilkins is looking to improve his position.
Wilkins is pressing down on Little's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Little distracts Wilkins with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Little has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Little stopping the sweep attempt from Wilkins. Little sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Wilkins's guard.

Little forces his way into half guard. Wilkins tries to roll over but Little keeps him under control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Little looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Wilkins with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wilkins tries to get to full guard but Little has control of the leg. Little works his way into full mount! Wilkins wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Little looking to isolate an arm here. Wilkins doesn't see it coming and as Little extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Little!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Omar Little! Omar Little took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'MMA saved my life! I should have been locked up a dozen times but it wasn't meant to be. Every time I hear the sweet gurgle of my opponent being choked out, the tap tap tap of his mercy plea or I pound away his senses it is a celebration of life! Tonight was a celebration!'.
