Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mizo Samxona!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendricks looks to land a right hand but Samxona moved out of range.
Hendricks displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Samxona.
Samxona takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Hendricks gets caught napping as Samxona dives in and scores a takedown. Hendricks manages to retain guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Hendricks is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Samxona postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Hendricks thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Hendricks is trying to control the position from the bottom.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Hendricks holds on and takes a little breather.
Hendricks on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hendricks tries to get out of the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of John Hendricks.
Samxona shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hendricks manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Samxona accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hendricks controls Samxona momentarily but Samxona frees himself.

Hendricks wants to get back to his feet but Samxona is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Samxona gets to his feet. Hendricks looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Samxona closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Samxona is putting a hurting on Hendricks here, landing some big shots from side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Samxona grinds an elbow into Hendricks's temple.
Oh Hendricks is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
You can see the frustration on Hendricks's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Hendricks is breathing heavily.

Samxona cracks Hendricks with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Samxona immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Hendricks is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Samxona!

A very excited looking Mizo Samxona made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
