The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nospmis misses with a body shot.
Nospmis throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jones stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Jones shoots in for a takedown but Nospmis shows good takedown defense.
Nospmis jabs at Jones's body.
The crowd cheers as Nospmis lands an impressive looking overhand right. Jones doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Justin Jones has been cut.
Jones tries for a takedown but Nospmis circles away easily
and Nospmis counters with a stiff right hand.
Justin Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nospmis stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nospmis wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Justin Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Nospmis lands with a big left! Jones is wobbled badly! Nospmis comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Jones to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
