Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bam Bam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Ballantine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bam Bam! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bill Ballantine! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Bart Greer and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bam wants to clinch. Bam looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Bam lands a nice looking body kick. Ballantine swats away the attempt to clinch by Bam. Bam slips a jab and a cross from Ballantine.
Bam thuds his shin into the meat of Ballantine's side. Ballantine changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bam tries to avoid it but Ballantine manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bam to the ground. Bam escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bam fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ballantine to the ground. Bam is now in Ballantine's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Bam pushing down on Ballantine's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bam wants to pass to mount but Ballantine is defending the position. Bam wants to take a breather but Ballantine is having none of it. Bam stops Ballantine from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Ballantine manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Bam postures up.
Bam pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ballantine is keeping the position for now. Ballantine looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bam throws an elbow that misses. Ballantine uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bam's guard. Nice move by Ballantine! Bam isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Ballantine stacks Bam on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Ballantine! You can see the frustration on Bam's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Bam on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bam tries to get out of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bam is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Ballantine asserts his dominance and retains side control. Ballantine advances to mount. Bam's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Ballantine tries to control but Bam wriggling away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ballantine lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Ballantine fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
It looks like Bam Bam has been cut. BOOM! Ballantine connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Bam Bam's cut is getting worse. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ballantine with good strikes from the mount here! Ballantine prevents Bam from getting the reversal. Bam tries to lock up and control but Ballantine gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Ballantine looking to control but Bam is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Ballantine lands with some strikes.
Jeez, Bam Bam's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bam Bam's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Bill Ballantine! Our winner, Bill Ballantine, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
