Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Makunuchi Ippo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dobruinyia Nikitov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dobruinyia Nikitov!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ippo throws a head kick but Nikitov moves out of range.
Nikitov manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ippo on his heels. He'll look to pass Ippo's guard now, I'm sure.
Nikitov is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Nikitov prevents Ippo from getting back to his feet.
Ippo can't keep his opponent in guard - Nikitov advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Ippo is trying to control but can't.
Nikitov is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Nikitov looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Nikitov is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ippo defends it well.
Ippo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Nikitov stalling.
Ippo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nikitov on the ground.

Ippo is in trouble now - Nikitov has advanced to mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nikitov controlling his opponent.
Nikitov has hold of Ippo's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ippo manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Ippo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Nikitov controlling the position easily from mount.

Nikitov wants to finish this one by submission but Ippo is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Nikitov.
Ippo wants to hold on but Nikitov pushes him away.
Nikitov content just to control the position here.
Nikitov takes Ippo's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Ippo is in trouble.

Nikitov has managed to slip his arm under Ippo's chin. This could be all over... yep, Ippo is tapping out! Submission win for Nikitov.
