The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nazir closes the distance and clinches up with Speranskiq, looking for a takedown. Nazir pushes Speranskiq against the cage but Speranskiq circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nazir gets a takedown into half guard.
Speranskiq is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nazir is figuring out what he wants to do next.
