Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between James Jameson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fei Yue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jameson lands with a kick to the temple. Yue shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Jameson misses with a low kick.
Yue avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Jameson throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
James Jameson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jameson throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Jameson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Yue lands a nice leg kick that just misses Jameson's sensitive parts.
Jameson tries to land a front kick but Yue steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Yue dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jameson attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Yue clobbers Jameson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
That kick from Yue tenderised Jameson's leg. Jameson is trying to keep his angry face on.
Jameson moves out of range as Yue strikes.
Jameson lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Jameson connects with a right hand. Yue shakes it off.

Yue checks the leg kick nicely there.
Yue tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jameson defends well and Yue ends up having to push Jameson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Yue is trying to control the action in half guard but Jameson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Yue is trying to control. Jameson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jameson is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Yue is controlling him well.
The ground and pound from Yue seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Yue wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jameson keeps working.

Jameson has one foot on Yue's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Yue takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Jameson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Yue.
Yue comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Jameson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Yue ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jameson moves away.
Jameson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

and Yue decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jameson's guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Fei Yue hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fei Yue showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Jameson misses with a head kick.
Jameson lets loose with a powerful body kick. Yue will feel that in the morning.

Jameson scores with a sloppy right hand. Yue should have avoided that one.

Yue moves into the clinch.
Jameson tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Yue's elbow.

and Yue counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jameson won't be happy with that.

Yue is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Yue is stalling here. Jameson is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Yue seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Jameson has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Yue is looking for a sweep.

Jameson wants to stand but Yue is controlling his arm.

Jameson stands up and beckons Yue to his feet.
Jameson throws the kick towards the body but Yue avoids it.
Jameson tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Yue is able to avoid easily.
Yue lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Jameson at a distance.
Jameson is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Yue fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jameson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Yue wants to stand but Jameson has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Jameson keeping moving, preventing Yue from controlling successfully.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Yue crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Jameson - the referee stops the clock and Yue gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Jameson. Yue manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Jameson throws a good cross that connects.
Jameson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Yue connects with a body shot.
Jameson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Yue fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jameson manages to avoid it.

Fei Yue comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
