Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mikio Okita (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bow Down. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okita throws a series of punches but Taylor avoids them all with ease.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Okita tries for a takedown but Taylor sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Taylor uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Okita.
Okita fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Taylor manages to avoid it.
Okita thuds his right hand into Taylor's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Okita moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Taylor misses with a looping left.
Taylor throws a jab but it's blocked by Okita.
Okita cracks a nice hook into Taylor's ribs.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Taylor.
Mikio Okita seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Taylor tries to close the distance and clinch up but Okita swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Taylor is looking to slow Okita down with leg kicks.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jordan Taylor hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
