The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, William Gold and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Del Norte swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Del Norte throws a nice looking combination but Komodo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Del Norte drives through with a takedown into Komodo's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Del Norte not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Del Norte lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Komodo wants to sweep but no luck.
Del Norte has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Antifanz Del Norte hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Komodo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Komodo shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Del Norte misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Del Norte shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Komodo manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Komodo pulls Del Norte in close to his closed guard and prevents Del Norte from doing any damage or advancing position.

Del Norte postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Del Norte told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Komodo makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Antifanz Del Norte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Komodo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Del Norte.

Del Norte looks winded!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Del Norte throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Del Norte tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Komodo swivels and escapes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Komodo looks to score with a jab to the body but Del Norte is just out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Antifanz Del Norte dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
A head kick by Del Norte misses
and Komodo counters with an inside leg kick.
Del Norte ducks right into an uppercut from Komodo.
It looks like Antifanz Del Norte has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Del Norte stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Komodo.
Komodo is looking to clinch but Del Norte is avoiding it.
Komodo dips to his left and cracks Del Norte with an uppercut!
Komodo is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Del Norte is rocked!
Del Norte on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Komodo. Komodo obviously looking to wear him down.
Del Norte is still on wobbly legs! Can Komodo finish him?
Komodo darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Del Norte's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Komodo before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
