Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Milo Coors (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Seven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Milo Coors! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Patrick Seven! The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Seven tries for a takedown but Coors circles away easily and Coors counters with a shoot takedown. Seven fights it but they end up in guard. Seven has his feet on Coors's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Seven shoots and misses and Coors decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Seven's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Seven trying to control the position.
Coors stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Seven swivels though and keeps the full guard. Coors trying to control the position from guard on top but Seven is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Coors is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Seven is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Coors is aware though and is defending well. Coors wants to control from the top but Seven keeps moving. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Coors won't allow Seven to sweep him here. Coors trying to control but Seven is working from the bottom. Coors sitting in guard, not really doing much.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Milo Coors just wasn't active enough. Coors throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Seven has his takedown stuffed and Coors counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Seven's guard now. Milo Coors has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Patrick Seven. Seven looking for a sweep. Not yet Seven, not yet. Coors wants to control from the top but Seven keeps moving. Seven throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Seven can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Coors controls the pace. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Coors seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Seven for as long as he can get away with. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Seven escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Coors gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Coors thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Coors seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Seven is trying to get back to full guard. Coors wants to pass the guard but Seven is defending well. Coors wants to control but Seven is keeping him busy. Still in half guard, Coors seems content to control. Seven won't allow Coors to pass to mount. Seven regains full guard. Nicely done.

We're going to have a standup here because Milo Coors wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Coors misses the shot to the body. Coors just misses with a punch to the body.
Seven fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Seven misses with a takedown attempt and Coors counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Seven is trying to control but can't.
Coors has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Seven defend it? Coors steps over the head and cranks it - Seven is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Coors!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Milo Coors! A very excited looking Milo Coors made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
