Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tobias Battle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrone Woodley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tobias Battle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyrone Woodley! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Battle shoots in for a double leg but Woodley sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Battle throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Woodley's waist but Woodley gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Battle off to one side. Woodley has a takedown stuffed. Woodley has managed to clinch.
Battle jumps guard but Woodley turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tobias Battle. That's going to take a lot out of him. Woodley gets underhooks to prevent Battle's takedown attempt.
Woodley breaks the clinch.
Battle fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Woodley sprawls well initially but Battle persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Woodley is trying to stand.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Woodley can do anything to dispel that myth. Woodley tries to get to full guard but Battle has control of the leg. Woodley missing with punches from the bottom.
Woodley is trying to get back to full guard. Woodley is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Woodley has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Battle is working away from the top position though. Woodley is trying to get back to full guard. Battle wants to get back to his feet.
Battle wants to lay and pray for a moment but Woodley keeps working.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Battle is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Woodley moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tyrone Woodley!
