Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Josef Solis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dule Savic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Josef Solis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dule Savic! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Savic closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Solis did well to prevent Savic getting side control. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Solis manages to escape and get back to his feet! Solis could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Savic gets a takedown into half guard. Savic is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Solis sees it coming and defends easily. Solis is defending against the submission attempts here by Savic.
Solis is trying to maintain the position but Savic is very close to passing his half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Savic wants to lay and pray for a moment but Solis keeps working. Solis kicks off Savic and gets to his feet. Solis shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Solis was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Solis has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Savic closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Solis's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Savic looking to pass the guard. Solis working a defensive guard but Savic passes into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Savic is keen to just control but Solis is a slippery customer. Solis trying to control from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Solis trying to get back to full guard but Savic takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Solis tries to hold on but Savic pushes him away. Savic throws a sloppy strike and Solis uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Solis has ended up in Savic's guard.
Solis would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Savic keeping moving, preventing Solis from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Savic has control of Solis's left arm, preventing Solis from doing any damage. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Savic not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Savic misses with a wild combination.
Savic throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Solis on the side of the head. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Savic darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Solis might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Savic looks winded! Solis kicks off Savic and gets to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dule Savic dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Savic shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Solis's guard. Solis looking to control.
Savic stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Solis swivels though and keeps the full guard. Solis not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Solis is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Savic misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Solis jumps guard but Savic turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Savic gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Savic wants to work for an arm triangle but Solis is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Solis controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Solis won't allow Savic to pass to mount. Dule Savic has got the better of the ground game so far. Savic seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Solis does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Solis is trying to stand.
Solis wants to control but Savic is keeping busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Josef Solis. Solis gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Savic to score an easy takedown into full guard. Savic is breathing heavily. Savic trying to control the position from guard on top but Solis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Savic slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Savic looking to sit in guard and control but Solis gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Savic trying to control the position.
Savic tries to land a sweep but no joy. Savic escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Solis gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Solis stands and steps away. Savic gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Savic throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Solis was covering up waiting for the punch and Savic finishes the takedown easily into guard. Solis is controlling Savic's posture. Solis wants to get back to his feet but Savic is in a dominant position and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dule Savic showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Savic dives in and scores a takedown into Solis's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Solis is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Savic looking to sit in guard and control but Solis gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Savic is working an open guard so Solis takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Savic decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Savic takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Solis has one foot on Savic's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Solis or perhaps it was just good defense by Savic which made him look bad. Savic drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Solis is trying to keep Savic in close.
Savic controls from within his opponent's guard. Solis wants to stand but Savic is controlling the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Solis gets a double leg takedown into Savic's guard. Savic looking for a sweep. Not yet Savic, not yet. Savic is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Solis wants to control from the top but Savic keeps moving. Savic wants to improve his position but instead Solis has moved into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Solis decides to return to a standing position. Savic is looking to clinch but Solis is avoiding it.
Solis avoids a punch combination nicely.
Savic misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Savic closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. You can see the frustration on Solis's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Savic swings around for an armbar but Solis sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Savic's guard. Solis stands up from guard. Let's bang! Solis drives through with a takedown into Savic's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. This has been an exciting period of action! Solis stands and steps away. Savic gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Savic gets a double leg takedown into Solis's guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Solis preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Josef Solis has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dule Savic is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Savic advances position into side control!
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Dule Savic. Well Savic has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
