Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heikki Ramires (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramires is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dropkick Murphys - Warriors Code. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramires closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Brown is staying active underneath Ramires, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Ramires looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Brown is looking to improve his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ramires is looking to advance position but Brown won't allow it.

Ramires looking to sit in guard and control but Brown gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Ramires tries to get to full guard but Brown has control of the leg.

Ramires fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Brown sprawls well initially but Ramires persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Brown is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Ramires off and has taken his back!

Brown is trying to stick to Ramires's back but Ramires is turning into Brown. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Brown's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Ramires.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ramires stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brown swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Brown looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Ramires has picked Brown up and slammed him! Brown can't keep hold of the triangle and Ramires manages to pass to side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brown tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Brown looking for a sweep but Ramires has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Brown is in all sorts of trouble here.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Brown has given up his back. Will we see Ramires going for some submissions?

Heikki Ramires showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Brown tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ramires swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Ramires passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Brown!
Ramires quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Ramires but it's paid off an Brown is forced to tap! Nice work by Ramires.
