Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zachariah Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ballard Magnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wayne comes to the cage accompanied by Open your eyes before you die!. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magnar misses with a hook.
Magnar's jab looks to have found its range, popping Wayne under the eye.
It looks like Zachariah Wayne has been cut.

Magnar throws a looping overhand right but Wayne ducks down to avoid it.

Wayne lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Wayne tries to bum rush Magnar with a series of wild strikes but Magnar uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Magnar lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wayne circles away quickly and effectively.
Wayne gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Magnar.
Wayne throws a solid leg kick but Magnar takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Wayne.
Wayne shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Wayne throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Wayne connects with an inside leg kick.
Magnar waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Wayne.
Magnar scores with a hook to the body. Wayne takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Ballard Magnar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wayne tries for a takedown but Magnar sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Magnar throws a lazy head kick
and Wayne counters with a takedown into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Wayne throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wayne is keen to just control but Magnar is a slippery customer.

Magnar is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Wayne's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Wayne's back!

Wayne has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Wayne tries to escape but Magnar has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Magnar really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Wayne.
Magnar is controlling the position but Wayne somehow manages to roll and ends up with half guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ballard Magnar hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Magnar throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Magnar defending well as Wayne loads up on a big left hand.

A close round but Ballard Magnar will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Wayne uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Magnar.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wayne uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Magnar has time to react.

I would just about give that final round to Ballard Magnar.
I think Magnar has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
