The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moraes misses with a takedown
and Schindler counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Moraes's guard now.
Schindler wants to control from the top but Moraes keeps moving.
Schindler pushing down on Moraes's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Moraes is staying active underneath Schindler, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Moraes has his hands clasped together around Schindler's back. He's all about the action.
Moraes trying to get back to full guard but Schindler takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
