The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Listen throws a big shot that misses.
Wei throws a leg kick which misses Listen's front leg but catches the back leg as Listen tries to avoid it.
Wei throws a half hearted mid kick.
Sloppy strikes from Listen. Those never looked like landing.
Listen looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
It looks like Jared Listen has been cut.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Wei.
Wei looks for the body kick but Listen saw that one coming.
Wei steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Listen.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Wei - that will leave a mark!
A nice inside leg kick there by Wei. That's going to slow Listen down.
Listen checks a leg kick.
Wei works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A swing and a miss from Wei.

Wei wants to slow Listen down by chopping away at his legs.
Wei pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Jared Listen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Listen thows a left - swing and a miss!
Wei misses with a body shot.
Wei bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Listen's head backwards.
Wei looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Listen moves out of range of the body kick from Wei.
Wei lands a nice leg kick that just misses Listen's sensitive parts.
Wei misses with a looping left.

Listen stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Wei.
Wei swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Listen counters with a series of strikes. Wei will be more careful next time no doubt.

enabling Listen to counter with a crisp jab.
Zhengtao Wei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice jab there from Wei.
Wei walks into a straight right hand from Listen.
Wei lands with a nice combination. Listen backs away looking to recover.
Wei connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Listen momentarily.
Wei throws a low kick, looking for Listen's leg but Listen calmly moves out of range.
Wei connects with a looping right hand.
It looks like Wei has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Wei throws a nice looking combination but Listen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Listen drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
That has opened up Jared Listen's cut even more.
Nice defenses there by Wei.
Wei misses with a body shot
and Listen counters with a nice body shot.
Wei throws a poor cross that misses
and Listen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Listen throws an overhand right that drops Wei like a sack of potatoes! Listen dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

Jared Listen was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
