Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Henry Blaine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Banner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bruce Banner!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banner goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.


It looks like Henry Blaine has been cut.

Blaine has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Blaine there as he acknowledges the shot.

Blaine uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Banner.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Blaine is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Blaine pulls Banner in close to his closed guard and prevents Banner from doing any damage or advancing position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Bruce Banner hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Banner tries to close the distance and clinch but Blaine swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Banner counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Blaine thinking.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Banner moves in looking to clinch but Blaine pushes him off.
Banner lunges at Blaine with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Blaine's hand.
Banner tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Blaine manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Blaine throws a hook to the side of Banner's head but Banner sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Banner cracks Blaine with a good jab.
Oh Blaine is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Banner connects with a body shot that sends Blaine's belly button to the back.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Blaine takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Banner tries to clinch there but Blaine circles away.

Banner fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Blaine, pushing him back against the cage.
Banner creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Blaine's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Blaine drops to his knees and Banner pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bruce Banner!
