Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Todd Poole!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Pop!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Glass and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pop throws a leg kick but Poole sees it coming and moves out of range.

Pop darts in and clinches Poole up against the cage.

Pop pulls Poole into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Pop trying to control the position here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pop working for a triangle but Poole defends it easily.
Pop is looking to stand up but Poole isn't so interested in that idea.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Poole is looking to work some ground and pound but Pop has wrist control.
Poole with a flurry of punches that miss.
Pop seems keen to control Poole's posture.
Pop is looking to stand up but Poole isn't so interested in that idea.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Pop pushes Poole up against the cage in a clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Pop breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Pop gets a takedown into half guard.
Poole is trying to stand up here but Pop is controlling him well.
Pop is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Pop works his foot free and advances to mount.
Pop raining down hammerfists from mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pop takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Pop is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Poole to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Poole shrugs it off.
Poole wants to control but Pop is having none of it.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Pop landing strikes from the mount and Poole is in trouble!


It looks like Todd Poole has been cut.
Poole is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Poole can't escape the position.
The referee warns Poole that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Poole takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.


Poole is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Pop working for a submission but Poole is keeping him at bay.
Oh Poole is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pop connects with a bit shot that sees Poole covering up! More strikes from Pop and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Pop is our winner by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Pop!
