Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brutus Nash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leonardo DeRosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brutus Nash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Leonardo DeRosa! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from DeRosa. A big right from Nash misses. Nash throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around DeRosa's waist but DeRosa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nash off to one side. DeRosa stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and DeRosa wants it to stay on the feet. DeRosa explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. An inside leg kick lands from DeRosa. DeRosa gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Leonardo DeRosa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. DeRosa throws a shot to the body.
Nash blocks a head kick by DeRosa.
We've been informed that DeRosa has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Nash on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by DeRosa. DeRosa obviously looking to wear him down.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Good leg kick by DeRosa there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
DeRosa connects with a high kick. A chopping leg kick lands by DeRosa. DeRosa lands a big head kick that sends Nash tumbling to the mat! DeRosa takes a step backwards and waves Nash back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Nash is rocked!
It looks like Brutus Nash has been cut. DeRosa throws a nice outside leg kick. DeRosa feints and then cracks Nash's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Nash down. Nash takes a shot right to the bread basket. Nash is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nash shoots in looking for a takedown but DeRosa manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nash's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brutus Nash. That's going to take a lot out of him. DeRosa lands a big head kick that sends Nash to the canvas! DeRosa follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
