These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fps McDuck!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charles fails with an attempt to clinch.

McDuck looking to score a takedown here. Charles is defending well but McDuck drives through and ends up in Charles's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McDuck stands up over Charles, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
McDuck has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
McDuck trying to control but Charles is working from the bottom.
McDuck is pushing down on Charles's leg trying to pass to half guard. Charles is fighting to maintain full guard but McDuck has managed to sneak the leg through.
Charles really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

McDuck looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
McDuck thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Charles knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McDuck on the ground.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McDuck missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Charles is controlling McDuck's position as best he can from this difficult position.
McDuck not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Charles avoiding damage under a succession of punches from McDuck.
Charles taking some punishment here, with McDuck in his half guard.

McDuck maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Charles could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but McDuck has cracked it and Charles is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by McDuck!
