Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Francisco Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adlan Amagov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adlan Amagov! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Amagov clinches up with Ortiz and pushes him back against the cage. Amagov throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Ortiz really is a fat lump. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Amagov drags the fight down to the ground.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Ortiz tries to stand but Amagov is controlling from the bottom. Ortiz is looking to work some ground and pound but Amagov has wrist control. Amagov trying to control the position here. Ortiz with a flurry of punches that miss. Amagov is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Ortiz is looking to stand up but Amagov won't let him. Amagov looking for a sweep. Not yet Amagov, not yet. Ortiz throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Ortiz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ortiz postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Amagov controlling the position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Adlan Amagov hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Amagov shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Ortiz keeping full guard, as Amagov tries to pass. Ortiz is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Amagov is aware though and is defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Amagov controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Amagov is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Ortiz controls Amagov momentarily but Amagov frees himself. Ortiz keeping full guard, as Amagov tries to pass.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Amagov slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Amagov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ortiz is keeping the position for now. Amagov won't allow Ortiz to sweep him here. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ortiz is on top in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Amagov is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Ortiz is looking to work some ground and pound but Amagov has wrist control. Ortiz wanted to stand there but Amagov had control of the position. Ortiz in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ortiz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Ortiz wants to get up but he can't break Amagov's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Amagov looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Ortiz trying to stand up but can't free himself from Amagov's guard. Ortiz is breathing heavily. Amagov tries to land a sweep but no joy. Amagov is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Amagov has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A head kick misses from Amagov. Amagov shoots in and bounces Ortiz off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Amagov wants to get up but he can't break Ortiz's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Ortiz might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ortiz keeping moving, preventing Amagov from controlling successfully. Ortiz throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ortiz is on top in guard.
Amagov wants to sweep but no luck. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ortiz makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Ortiz throwing strikes from guard but Amagov blocks nicely. Ortiz postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Adlan Amagov dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

It looks like Francisco Ortiz has been cut. Amagov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ortiz sprawls well initially but Amagov persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Amagov is taking a breather. Ortiz says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Amagov is keen to just control but Ortiz is a slippery customer.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Adlan Amagov was stalling too much, according to the referee. Ortiz fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Amagov to the ground. Ortiz is now in Amagov's guard. Amagov is pulling down on Ortiz's head. It's preventing any offense from Ortiz, at least for the moment. Amagov working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ortiz.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ortiz is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Amagov has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Ortiz is looking to defend but Amagov has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Ortiz! Amagov pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Ortiz taps out and this one is all over!
