Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam MacIntyre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bret Hatton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MacIntyre's entrance music is Forever, by Throwdown. A fine choice. Hatton has chosen Bret Hart theme as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Adam MacIntyre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bret Hatton!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hatton.

MacIntyre shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. MacIntyre showed some decent athleticism there.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
MacIntyre tries for a takedown but Hatton sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Hatton fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hatton tries a head kick but it misses.
MacIntyre looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hatton is fending him off so far but MacIntyre persists. Nope, Hatton circles away and we're back to standing.

MacIntyre has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hatton drops back looking for a leg! MacIntyre is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and MacIntyre manages to kick Hatton off! Hatton jumps back into MacIntyre's guard.

Hatton gets to his feet. MacIntyre looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hatton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. MacIntyre swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hatton is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Adam MacIntyre will probably get the nod.

Hatton lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Hatton is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so MacIntyre is just riding it out for now. Hatton eventually gives up the hold.

Hatton drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hatton jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

MacIntyre changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hatton tries to avoid it but MacIntyre manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hatton to the ground. Hatton escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Hatton shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

MacIntyre is staying active underneath Hatton, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Hatton has his foot on MacIntyre's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. MacIntyre works his way back into a safe position though.

MacIntyre distracts Hatton with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

MacIntyre sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hatton's guard.

Bret Hatton comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Hatton has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
