Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Scott Watt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darius Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Watt comes to the cage accompanied by Edmund Fitzgerald. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Watt lands with a shot to the body. Watt fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ellis, pushing him back against the cage. Ellis is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. A short left from Watt. Ellis missing with knees to the body.
Watt scores a nice knee to the body.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Watt pulls guard effortlessly. Watt is working an open guard so Ellis takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Watt fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Watt looks for a takedown but Ellis sprawls well. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Watt closes the distance and lands a one-two. Ellis clinches with his opponent.

Ellis pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Ellis tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Watt avoids it. Ellis wants a takedown but no success here.

Ellis misses with a knee to the head. Watt has Ellis pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Watt pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Ellis tumbling to the mat - Watt dives into Ellis's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Watt trying to control but Ellis is working from the bottom. Watt is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ellis is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Watt has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ellis is proving hard to escape from.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Scott Watt. Ellis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Watt lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Watt. Ellis throws a big shot that misses. Ellis stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ellis wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scott Watt. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ellis shoots in but Watt avoids the takedown attempt easily. Watt seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ellis misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Watt clinches up against the cage. Watt unloads a knee to the mid-section. Ellis looks winded! Watt lands a knee to the body.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Darius Ellis wasn't active enough on the ground. Watt looks for a takedown but Ellis sprawls well. Watt throws a front kick that sends Ellis stumbling back into the cage. Ellis looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. A combination from Watt does no damage. Ellis throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Watt looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Watt is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ellis sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Ellis gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Watt to score an easy takedown into full guard. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Ellis keeping moving, preventing Watt from controlling successfully. Ellis is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Watt defends well. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ellis has a closed guard, preventing Watt from standing up. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Watt stopping the sweep attempt from Ellis. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Watt circles away from the clinch attempt and Watt counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Watt has taken the fight to the clinch.
Watt escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Watt pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Watt avoids the head kick by Ellis.
Watt keeps the fight on the outside. Watt clinches with his opponent.

Watt jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ellis walks away with a smile on his face. Watt gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Watt gets in close and instigates a clinch. Ellis tries to land a knee to the head but Watt blocks with his arms.

That's one minute gone in the round. Watt tries to throw a body punch but Ellis avoids it by throwing Watt back against the cage. Watt lands an elbow inside. Ellis blocks a body shot from Watt. Watt tries a knee to the head but Ellis blocks it.

Watt drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ellis gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Ellis takes a knee to the side of the body. Ellis has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Watt avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Ellis has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Watt is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Scott Watt has scored more points in the clinch so far. Ellis is breathing heavily. Watt landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Watt looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Ellis won't allow Watt to get back to his feet. Watt looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ellis is one step ahead there.
Scott Watt has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Ellis tries to close the distance and clinch but Watt swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Scott Watt dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Watt shoots for a takedown but Ellis saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Watt clinches. Watt gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Ellis.
Ellis drops down looking for an ankle pick but Watt pulls his leg out and moves away.
Ellis throws a series of punches but Watt avoids them all with ease. Ellis doesn't manage to clinch there - Watt circles away.
Watt moves into the clinch. Ellis tries to land knees in the clinch but Watt avoids the damage to the body. Ellis takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Ellis blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Watt avoiding damage as Ellis throws knees to the body.
Watt breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ellis avoids a kick to the body.
Ellis fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Watt sprawls well initially but Ellis persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Watt is looking to control Ellis's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Watt avoid being mounted? Watt is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Watt trying to control but Ellis postures up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Scott Watt wasn't doing enough on the ground. Watt shoots for a takedown but Ellis saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Ellis shoots in for a takedown but Watt shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Scott Watt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darius Ellis. Watt rushes Ellis and presses him up against the cage.

Watt moves into the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Scott Watt showed his dominance in that final round. Well Watt has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
