Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Connor Reos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Floyd Mayweather (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reos moves to clinch but Mayweather breaks away
and Mayweather counters with a one-two to the body.

Mayweather gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Reos tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mayweather smiles and moves away.
Mayweather swats away the attempt to clinch by Reos.
Mayweather scores with a one two! Reos had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Connor Reos has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Reos darts in looking for a takedown but Mayweather gets double underhooks and turns Reos into the cage.
Mayweather is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Mayweather has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Reos is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Mayweather.

The referee asks Reos politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Reos prefers to stall for the moment though.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Reos tries to close the distance and clinch but Mayweather swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Mayweather closes the distance and pushes Reos back into the cage.

Reos ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Reos no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Mayweather drops back looking for a leg! Reos is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Reos manages to kick Mayweather off! Mayweather jumps back into Reos's guard.

Reos wants to stand up but Mayweather is controlling him.
Mayweather slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Reos lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Mayweather!
Mayweather bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Reos has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mayweather can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Reos is pressed up against the cage. Mayweather has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Reos down to the mat. Reos avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Reos dives in and grabs Mayweather's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mayweather pushes down on Reos's head and hops out.

Reos closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Connor Reos will probably get the nod.

Mayweather throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Reos's waist but Reos gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mayweather off to one side.

Reos tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Mayweather just stands there and leans against the cage.
