Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shinji Takahashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krayzie Bone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Shinji Takahashi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Krayzie Bone!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takahashi moves out of range of the strikes.
Bone moves out of range of the body kick from Takahashi.
A punch combination from Takahashi misses.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bone is defended easily by Takahashi.
Takahashi throws a leg kick

and Bone counters by moving into the clinch.
Bone tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Takahashi tries to pull guard but Bone forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Bone goes for a takedown attempt but Takahashi pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Shinji Takahashi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Krayzie Bone.
Bone shoots in looking for a takedown. Takahashi tries to sprawl out of it but Bone keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Takahashi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bone stuffs the takedown attempt from Takahashi. Takahashi gets slowly back to his feet.
Takahashi misses with a takedown attempt - Bone sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Bone shoots in and drives through. Takahashi sprawls well.
Bone dives in for a single leg takedown but Takahashi sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Bone breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Takahashi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Bone takes a jab right on the kisser.
Horrible takedown by Takahashi or perhaps it was just good defense by Bone which made him look bad.
Takahashi throws a head kick that misses
and Bone counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Nice sprawl there from Takahashi as Bone shoots in.

Bone shoots in for a double leg but Takahashi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Takahashi is trying to pull guard but Bone has him pressed against the cage.
Takahashi has Bone pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bone manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Bone jumps guard but Takahashi turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Bone's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bone tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Takahashi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Takahashi counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Bone rushes Takahashi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Takahashi wants a takedown.
Bone wants a takedown.
Bone looks winded!
Takahashi has Bone pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bone manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Bone changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Takahashi fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Bone shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Takahashi as he avoids it easily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Takahashi is defended easily by Bone.
Takahashi tries to bum rush Bone with a series of wild strikes but Bone uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Bone throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Takahashi stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Takahashi scores with a push kick.
Takahashi leaves Bone with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Takahashi goes for a double leg but Bone avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bone continues to drive forward.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Krayzie Bone will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Takahashi uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Takahashi throws a sloppy head kick and Bone moves out of range easily.
Bone swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Bone takes the fight into the clinch.
Takahashi gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Bone.
Bone tries to score a body lock takedown but Takahashi shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Bone scores a nice knee to the body.
Bone lands with a left to the head.
Takahashi jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bone walks away with a smile on his face. Takahashi gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Takahashi jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Takahashi fails with the takedown.
Bone throws a lazy right hand but Takahashi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bone stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bone wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shinji Takahashi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bone dives in for a single leg takedown but Takahashi sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Takahashi drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bone gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bone is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Bone is controlling Takahashi's posture.
Bone looking to hit a scissor sweep but Takahashi is one step ahead there.
Bone keeping moving, preventing Takahashi from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bone has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Takahashi has passed into side control.

Takahashi prevents Bone from escaping the position.

Bone pushes Takahashi away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Takahashi gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Bone is squirming around, avoiding Takahashi's attempts to control the action.

The referee warns Bone that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Takahashi can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bone is looking to escape.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Shinji Takahashi will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!


Takahashi shoots in for a double leg but Bone sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Takahashi throws a half hearted mid kick.
Bone stuns Takahashi with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Bone gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Bone throws a wild body kick that Takahashi sees coming a mile off.
Bone shoots in for a takedown but Takahashi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Bone is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Bone takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Bone sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Takahashi's guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Krayzie Bone.

I would just about give that final round to Krayzie Bone.
I think Bone has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
