The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Showtime throws a one two combo.
It looks like Isreal Franks has been cut.
Showtime tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Showtime avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Franks takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Showtime shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Franks napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Showtime content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Franks manages to get back to half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Franks is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Showtime moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
