The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carro throws a sloppy head kick and Franco moves out of range easily.
Franco throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Carro tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Franco is in Carro's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Carro can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Franco controls the pace.
Franco is posturing up here but Carro has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Franco tries to roll out but it's too tight and Franco has to tap! Slick submission there by Carro!
